Jennifer Sharp

Jennifer Sharp is the Senior Research Fund Manager for the XCEPT Programme at Chemonics UK. She oversees the commissioning and delivery of research grants through the XCEPT Research Fund, a flexible platform that supports individual researchers and organisations in exploring innovative ways to understand how conflicts cross borders and improve conflict response.

With over ten years of experience in international development and humanitarian response, Jennifer specialises in complex grant management. She has supported programmes in challenging contexts including Afghanistan, South Sudan, the occupied Palestinian Territories, and Ukraine. Before joining XCEPT, Jennifer advised on emergency grant portfolios at War Child and worked in operational roles in refugee response settings in Greece and the UK.

Jennifer holds an MA with Distinction in the Social Anthropology of International Development from SOAS, University of London.
