Khin Sett Mon

Based in Myanmar’s Northern Rakhine State, Khin Sett Mon is a researcher with a background in journalism. Having worked in several peacebuilding-focused research and development programmes, she conducted her first research project focusing on minority perspectives amidst communal conflict in 2018. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, a Master’s degree in International Peace Studies from the University for Peace in Costa Rica and Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. Since graduating, she has been actively involved in research projects addressing peace and conflict areas, good governance, and social development, collaborating with national and international organizations to enact positive change in Myanmar.
