Era Robbani

Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University

Era Robbani is a Research Associate at the Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University. Her research focuses on how fragility, identity, and risks shape the lives of communities living in and around border areas. As a Government Merit Scholarship holder, she brings experience working with law enforcement agencies and legal aid organisations in qualitative research, programme management, and policy analysis. Her research and writings have revolved around state-corporate crimes exacerbating social harms, (in)security in border regions, and environmental justice. As part of the X-Border Local Research Network under XCEPT, she is currently studying vulnerable communities in Bangladeshi borderlands.
