Tabea Campbell Pauli

XCEPT

Tabea Campbell Pauli is a Senior Research Manager at XCEPT specialising in locally-led approaches, and the intersections between conflict and community vulnerability, with a focus on South and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining XCEPT she worked for The Asia Foundation in Myanmar, Thailand and Sri Lanka, supporting peacebuilding, conflict prevention and research programmes. As a programme lead of the X-Border Local Research Network, she worked closely with researchers and experts in Myanmar’s borderlands and Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh, and oversaw the XCEPT Women Researchers Fellowship (2024-2025). Her work has been published in edited volumes and journals, and she has co-authored numerous reports and articles on conflict and development issues. Tabea holds a Master of International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a diploma in Gender and Conflict Studies from SOAS University of London.
